MATERIALS
 
Fabric Requirements
1 18” roll of faux leather/vinyl
1 12” roll with a WOF 56” for the straps
(If using contrast fabric) 12” x 31” of Contrasting faux leather/ vinyl
1 yard of cotton woven lining fabric
 
Interfacing/Stabilizer
2 yards 20” WOF woven interfacing 
1.25 yards of 17” WOF Decovil light.  If you prefer a more stable bag, Decovil Heavy is recommended.
 
Hardware
(2) 1” Rectangle rings
(2) 1” Adjustable sliders, wide mouth might be preferable pending materials
(1) 18mm magnetic snap
(1-3) Zipper ends, 2 are optional for the front tie
(2 sets)- Snaps (I used 12.5 mm)
(2) 1” Strap ends (optional)
1 yard of #5 continuous zipper tape  (cut into 7”, 9” & 13” pieces)
(3) #5 zipper pulls
(12) Medium (8mm) Rivets, Depending on your faux leather thickness, you might need 2 Large (10 mm) Rivets when attaching the straps to the bag (aka Marine Vinyl)

SKILL LEVEL
The Linnea Backpack is categorized as an intermediate but can be sewn by a beginner who is familiar with basic sewing terms.
 
**Every Part of this pattern can be done on a domestic machine.  You do not need an industrial to sew this bag!**
